Homosassa River Paddle Trip March 2024
A good day to be on the water. The Weatherman predicted rain but it fell in the early morning and some after we paddled so it was clear for our trip. It was comfortably warm day so not a lot of manatees where around. However, we did see a few moving up and down the river. We also saw Osprey, Cormorant, Wood Duck, and Turtles sunning themselves on tree branches the bend to reach the water. The head springs was packed with anchored boats. But not any manatee. We lunched at Margarita Grill, which was great. The food was good and they took good care of our group. It was a pleasant day on the water. Thanks for everyone for coming out and paddling with us.
