The Tahe Beach Performer is the surf-shaped one. A classic longboard outline, moderate rocker and narrower rails than a Cross board, so it glides better on flat water and will genuinely ride a small wave rather than just survive one.
Performer Means Shape, Not Size
Cross boards are wide and stable. Performer boards trade a little of that stability for a surf outline and a 2+1 fin setup, which is what lets them turn. At 11'6 and 32.5" this one is still a forgiving board — it is the shape that is different, not the difficulty.
Tough-Tec Construction
Beach boards are built Tough-Tec: a molded, watertight EPS foam core inside a tough polyethylene outer skin, with an embossed EVA deck pad. It is the heaviest of Tahe's layups and much the hardest to damage, which is why it is what schools and rental fleets buy. Made in France.
