Eno ProFly Rain Tarp
Shelter over the hammock. The ProFly rain tarp is 10'6" x 6'4" of PU-coated ripstop nylon, and unlike most tarps it arrives genuinely complete.
The ProFly Rain Tarp Arrives Complete
No hunting for stakes and cord afterwards. The ProFly ships with:
• 4 aluminium ground stakes with pre-tied loop knots
• Reflective guy cord
• Integrated LineLoc tensioners
• Integrated aluminium ridgeline hooks
• Stuff sack
The six-point anchor system needs no knots, which matters when it starts raining and you are rigging in a hurry.
ProFly Rain Tarp Coverage, Honestly
Worth saying honestly, because it is the most common complaint about this tarp.
At 10'6" long against a 9'6" hammock, the ProFly covers your body well and leaves the ends somewhat exposed. In still rain that is fine. In driving rain on the wind, you will get spray at the head and foot.
If you want full end-to-end coverage, that is the ProFly XL or the DryFly, and we can order either. For most Florida use — an afternoon thunderstorm, heavy dew, shade from the sun — the standard ProFly is enough.
It Is Not Only a Hammock Tarp
Pitched between two trees on its own it is a perfectly good shade tarp or basecamp shelter. On a hot flat afternoon, shade is worth more than rain protection.
