Atlas XL Strap Set
The long ones. Atlas XL straps are 13'6" per strap against the standard Atlas's 9 ft, with 40 combined attachment points instead of 30.
Atlas XL Straps Are Longer, Not Stronger
Be clear on this before you pay the difference: the capacity is the same 400 lb as the standard Atlas, and the webbing is the same 1000D polyfilament at the same 1.5" tapering to 0.75".
You are buying reach and adjustability, not strength. At 13 oz they are four ounces heavier.
Why Atlas XL Straps Suit Florida Trees
In Florida the trees you actually get are often the problem.
Live oaks have enormous trunks, and a 9 ft strap can be most of the way used up just going round one. Pines and palms in a park are frequently spaced further apart than a standard strap comfortably spans. Mangroves are neither strong enough nor spaced sensibly.
If you have ever arrived somewhere promising and found the only two usable trees are just slightly too far apart, that is what Atlas XL fixes.
More Attachment Points
Twenty loops per strap instead of fifteen means finer adjustment, which matters when the two trees are different thicknesses and you are trying to get the hammock level.

Hanging It Without Damaging the Tree
This is not box-ticking — it is why many parks require webbing.
ENO's own guidance is webbing at least 1 inch wide. Leave No Trace say the same, and add: pick a tree at least 6 inches in diameter, hang from the thickest part of the trunk, and keep the hammock no more than 18 inches off the ground.
Rope and paracord do not meet that standard. A narrow line concentrates the load and cuts into the bark and the living cambium underneath, which can kill the tissue. Wide webbing spreads it.
Never screw or hammer anything into a tree.
