A Wireless Phone Charger Mount That Does Both
15 watts of Qi wireless charging through the cradle, plus a USB-C port rated to 20 watts for a second device — a headlamp, a camera, a passenger's phone.
The cradle locks with a one-hand push button and releases the same way, which matters when your other hand has a paddle in it. It fits phones from 4.0" to 6.9", which covers essentially everything current, cases included.
A Wireless Phone Charger Mount Built for a Wet Boat
IP66 rated, with a waterproof power switch. That is a proper ingress rating, not splash resistance — this is designed to be rained on and to take spray over the bow.
Mounting is a 360° adjustable gooseneck on a quick-release action mount, and it will go on a surface mount or a t-slot rail. So it works on a bare deck or on the gear track most fishing kayaks already have.
A Practical Warning
Wireless charging generates heat, and a phone in direct Florida sun on a dark deck is already hot. Phones throttle or shut down when they overheat, and that has nothing to do with the charger.
Mount it somewhere with a bit of shade if you can, and if your phone starts complaining on a July afternoon, that is the sun rather than a fault.
Plug and Play, No Soldering
Every part of the Yak Power line uses standard SAE two-pin connectors — the same snap-together plug used on battery tenders. Nothing gets cut, stripped, crimped or soldered. You plug the pieces together in the order they go, and the system works.
That is the whole reason this line exists. Wiring a kayak used to mean butt connectors, heat shrink and a prayer. This is a system a customer with no electrical experience can install in an afternoon and trust in salt water.
