Power Pack Battery Box
A kayak battery box does more than hold a battery. This one is waterproof, has its own 12V outlet and a master switch built into the lid, and carries a dual USB port so your phone charges without a separate accessory.
What the Kayak Battery Box Holds
Three 7Ah batteries, or two 12Ah. Batteries are not included. The foam inserts inside are configurable, so you can pack whichever combination you are running so it does not move.
Outside dimensions are 10.84" x 8.96" x 5.95" and it weighs about 4 lb empty. That is a real object — plan where it sits in the boat before you buy, ideally low and central where the weight does least harm to your trim.

The master switch is the feature people end up valuing most. Everything downstream dies when you flick it, so nothing quietly drains the battery on the trailer.
An Important Warning About the Charger
The built-in trickle charger is a lead-acid charger. Do not use it to charge a lithium battery. A lead-acid charging profile is wrong for LiFePO4 and will damage the pack.
If you are running lithium — and most people now are — use this box as a box and charge the battery with a lithium-specific charger. We will point you at the right one; just tell us what chemistry you have.
Plug and Play, No Soldering
Every part of the Yak Power line uses standard SAE two-pin connectors — the same snap-together plug used on battery tenders. Nothing gets cut, stripped, crimped or soldered. You plug the pieces together in the order they go, and the system works.
That is the whole reason this line exists. Wiring a kayak used to mean butt connectors, heat shrink and a prayer. This is a system a customer with no electrical experience can install in an afternoon and trust in salt water.
