Waterproof remote control
A waterproof inline remote adds key-fob and phone control to a Yak Power panel, so you can switch a light or an aerator without reaching for the console.
The Waterproof Inline Remote Needs a Panel
This module plugs into a five-circuit Power Panel. On its own it does nothing at all. If you do not already have the panel, you need that first, and we stock it.
We say this plainly because it is the single most common reason one of these comes back.
What You Get
• A five-button key fob — bow, mid-ship, stern, ACC 1 and ACC 2, matching the panel's circuits
• Yak Power lanyard
• Bluetooth for the Yak Power app on iOS and Android
• Fully potted and sealed against water
The fob is the part that earns its place. Standing at the tailgate in the dark, being able to switch the boat's lights on before you carry it down is a small, real convenience. So is killing a noisy aerator from the seat without leaning forward.
Honest Note on Fish Finder Integration
Yak Power has advertised compatibility with certain Lowrance units, pending a software update on Lowrance's side. We are not going to promise you fish-finder control from this module, because we cannot confirm it is live. If that specific feature is why you are buying, ask us and we will check the current state with Yak Power before you spend the money.
Plug and Play, No Soldering
Every part of the Yak Power line uses standard SAE two-pin connectors — the same snap-together plug used on battery tenders. Nothing gets cut, stripped, crimped or soldered. You plug the pieces together in the order they go, and the system works.
That is the whole reason this line exists. Wiring a kayak used to mean butt connectors, heat shrink and a prayer. This is a system a customer with no electrical experience can install in an afternoon and trust in salt water.
