Cup Holder Pro Side Pocket

The Cup Holder Pro side pocket is a flat pocket that clips onto a YakAttack Cup Holder Pro — for a phone, a packet of soft plastics, or whatever you want flat and to hand rather than rolling around the deck.

It Attaches to the Cup Holder Pro

The Cup Holder Pro side pocket connects by a dovetail and screw to the Cup Holder Pro, which is sold separately and is the part that actually mounts to your boat.

On its own it will not fit a kayak. No track fitting, no base. If you do not own the Cup Holder Pro yet, buy that first — it mounts to GearTrac, MightyMount and most factory track.

What Goes In the Cup Holder Pro Side Pocket

A phone, soft plastics, a leader wallet, a snack. Anything flat that you want visible and reachable without opening a hatch or digging through a crate.

There are integrated tethers, and they are worth using for a phone. A pocket keeps a phone in place in normal paddling; it does not keep it in the boat if you go over.

Build It Out

The Cup Holder Pro is the base of a small modular system — this side pocket, a tool holder for pliers and scissors, a bait tray, vertical dividers, a splash cap and a trash-trap lid all hang off the same unit.

One mounting point, several functions. On a kayak deck, where every square inch of track is contested, that is a much better use of space than bolting five separate things in five separate places.
