Yakima Safety Pole and Clip
A kayak trailer is low, narrow and completely invisible in a mirror. The Yakima safety pole is a 40-inch bright yellow fibreglass rod that clips to the trailer frame and sticks up where you can actually see it.

Anyone who has backed a light trailer down a boat ramp knows the problem: you cannot see it, so you guess, and then you get out and look. A visible reference point at the corner of the trailer turns that into one smooth manoeuvre.
