Tow & Go Bike Trailer
A reliable kayak cart makes moving your boat in Clearwater much easier. Osprey Bay Outdoors offers durable options for all types of kayaks and canoes.
Moving a kayak or canoe from your vehicle to the water's edge in Clearwater doesn't have to be a struggle. A well-designed cart provides the leverage and support needed to transport your paddlecraft over various terrains, saving your back and energy for the water itself. Our selection focuses on dependable models built to withstand the unique demands of Florida's coastal environment.
We carry a range of kayak carts featuring marine-grade aluminum frames, chosen for their strength and resistance to saltwater corrosion. These carts are engineered to manage significant weight, with capacities often reaching up to 250 pounds, accommodating most single and tandem kayaks, as well as many canoes.
Wheels and Terrain
The right wheels are key to a cart's performance. Many of our kayak carts feature large, pneumatic tires that float over soft sand, rocky paths, or grassy stretches common around Clearwater's launch points. For those who prefer a maintenance-free option, some models offer solid, puncture-proof wheels. You can find carts with quick-release wheel systems for easy breakdown and storage.
Versatility for All Paddlesports
While designed primarily for kayaks, these versatile carts are also excellent for hauling canoes and other paddlesports gear. They function much like a personal utility trailer for the water. With the right setup, a sturdy cart can even be used as a basic canoe bike trailer or a simple paddlesport trailer for short distances, expanding how you move your gear. You can easily move SUPs, fishing crates, and even a small dinghy with the proper accessories.
When not in use, most kayak carts fold down compactly for easy storage in your garage, vehicle, or kayak hatch. This convenience ensures you're never without the means to comfortably get your boat where it needs to go. Before heading out, always check the local marine forecast for Clearwater for safe paddling conditions.
