XK4 Tacoma Adapter 2016 +
The Thule XK4 is the fit kit for a third-generation Toyota Tacoma — 2016 to 2023 — with the integrated bed rail system.
What an XK Kit Is
A truck rack normally grips the bed rail by wrapping a clamp over the top and under the lip. A Tacoma with the factory deck-rail system has no usable lip underneath, so the standard clamps have nothing to hold. An XK kit swaps in feet that slide into the Tacoma's deck-rail tracks instead. No drilling, no cutting, and it serves both the Thule Xsporter Pro and the TracRac TracONE.
Which Tacoma, and One Limitation
XK4 covers 2016 to 2023. Earlier trucks take the XK3, and the 2024-on fourth-generation Tacoma is not covered by either kit. One more limit worth knowing: the XK4 does not work with the older 422XT Xsporter truck rack.
