Force 3 XL Thule Cargo Box

The Thule Force 3 XL is the size most families land on: 500 litres, about 18 cubic feet, which swallows the camping gear, the bags and the things nobody wanted in the back seat. It is low-profile enough to still get into most garages.

It Opens From Both Sides

DualSide opening sounds like a small thing until you are parked on a busy road. You load from the kerb instead of standing in traffic, and you can reach the far end of the box from whichever side you are on.

SlideLock

Force 3 replaced the old locking knob with SlideLock: locking and opening are separate actions, the lid locks itself, and the indicator tells you it is properly shut before you drive off. Fewer ways to get it wrong in a dark car park.
