XK3 Tacoma Adapter

The Thule XK3 is the fit kit that lets a Thule truck rack mount to the factory deck rails on a second-generation Toyota Tacoma.

What an XK Kit Is

A truck rack normally grips the bed rail by wrapping a clamp over the top and under the lip. A Tacoma with the factory deck-rail system has no usable lip underneath, so the standard clamps have nothing to hold. An XK kit swaps in feet that slide into the Tacoma's deck-rail tracks instead. No drilling, no cutting, and it serves both the Thule Xsporter Pro and the TracRac TracONE.

Which Tacoma

XK3 covers the 2005 to 2015 Tacoma with the factory bed rail system. For a 2016 to 2023 truck you want the XK4 instead, and the 2024-on fourth-generation Tacoma is not covered by either.
