Pulse 2 Thule Cargo Box

The Thule Pulse 2 L is the current Pulse, and it is a considerably better box than the one it replaced: 450 litres, opening from both sides, and rated to 165 lb rather than 110.

Not the Same as the Old Pulse

Worth being clear, because the name carried over. The original Pulse opened on the passenger side only and took 110 lb. The Pulse 2 opens either side, carries 165 lb, and mounts with PowerClick instead of the old clamps. If you are comparing a Pulse 2 against a secondhand Pulse, those are the three differences that matter.

The box clamps to the bars with a torque indicator built into the mechanism — it clicks audibly when it is properly tight. No tools, and no wondering whether you did it up enough.
