Wingbar Evo
Thule WingBar Evo bars are the quiet ones. A square bar hums at highway speed and you hear it the whole way to the launch; the wing profile on these is shaped to cut that out, which is why most people who drive any distance end up on them.
Why It Is Quieter
WindDiffuser technology disturbs the airflow over the bar to reduce noise and drag, and the TrailEdge shape lets air separate cleanly off the back of it. Less noise and less drag means slightly better fuel economy as well.
Accessories Go On Easily
The upper T-track with the QuickAccess interface takes carriers, boxes and cradles straight in, and the SwingBlade end cap pivots open so you can get to the whole slot instead of threading a bolt from one end. SmartSlides give you a length scale that doubles as an aerodynamic cover underneath.
