Motion 3
The Thule Motion 3 is the current generation of Thule's best-known cargo box, and the one most people picture when they think of a roof box. We stock it in L, XL and XXL, in black and in titan.
SlideLock and PowerClick
Two things make it easier to live with than the boxes it replaced. PowerClick mounts it to the bars with an integrated torque indicator that clicks when it is properly tight, so there is no guessing and no tools. SlideLock separates locking from opening, locks the lid by itself and shows a red indicator if the box is not latched — which is the mistake you only make once.
It Opens From Both Sides
DualSide opening means you load from the kerb rather than standing in traffic, and you can reach the far end of a long box from whichever side you are on.

A note on names: the old Alpine profile is now called Low, so if you are after a long narrow box, ask for a Motion 3 Low rather than an Alpine. Come see the sizes side by side at our Clearwater shop — an XXL looks very different on a small car.
