Two short scupper valves in a pack. A scupper valve is the one-way flap that sits in a scupper hole and lets water drain out of the deck without letting it back up through.

Short, Not Long — This Matters

There are two lengths and they are not interchangeable. Ours are the SHORT ones.

The short valve sits flush. That is deliberate: it means a crate, a cooler or your feet can sit over the scupper without fouling the valve, and nothing protrudes into the footwell where you would stand on it.

The long valve sticks up further and suits different positions. If you order the wrong length you will either find it will not seat, or find it in the way — so check what came out of your boat before ordering.

Which Boats Take These Short Scupper Valves

Verified for the Topwater 106, Topwater 120, Topwater 106 PDL and Topwater 120 PDL. Dealers list broader fitment across the Sportsman and AutoPilot range but we have not been able to confirm that against Old Town, so we would rather you brought the old valve in and we matched it physically.

What Short Scupper Valves Actually Do

A sit-on-top has holes through the hull by design, so water that washes over the deck drains away. The cost is that in chop, or with a heavy load, water comes up through those holes and you paddle with wet feet.

A scupper valve is a simple flap that opens downward under the weight of water on the deck and closes when pressure comes the other way. Simple, effective, and a consumable — the flap goes hard with age and stops sealing.

Pull them out before a trip where you *want* free drainage, such as anywhere you might take a lot of water aboard.
