Slider Latch, Finger Loop
The newer style with something to pull on. Finger loop slider latch parts replace the plain sliders on a Native Propel thwart with the 2021-onward design that has a moulded loop.
Why a Finger Loop Slider Latch Is Better
Because you operate this with wet, cold or gloved hands, often while leaning awkwardly over a drive well.
A plain slider gives you a small flat tab to push. A finger loop gives you something to hook a finger through and pull, which takes far less precision and far less force. It is a small change and it is genuinely better.
Finger Loop Slider Latch: Sliders Only
These are the sliding parts, not complete latch assemblies. No bases and no mounting hardware.
That is the right purchase if your bases are sound and it is the sliders that are worn, cracked or stiff — which is the usual failure, because the slider is the part that moves.
If a base is damaged or missing, you need the full set of three complete latch kits instead. We stock that too, at roughly double the price, and we would rather point you at it than have you find out at home.
One Note on This Listing
The part number on our record does not resolve at Native, though the price matches their sliders-only kit exactly. Before you buy, ask us and we will open the packet and confirm whether you are getting singles or a set of three.
Fitting
No tools beyond your hands for the sliders themselves. Clean the track with fresh water and dry it before fitting new parts — sliding a new slider into a track full of old grit just wears the new part.
Check the travel afterwards. A latch that does not go fully home is not holding the drive.
