Why Buy a Cut Caribbean 14FS Standing Pad Kit
Anyone can buy a sheet of deck foam and cut it. Almost nobody does it well. The curves where a footwell meets a gunwale are compound, the adhesive grabs instantly, and you get one attempt.
A cut kit removes all of that. The pieces are shaped to the boat, they land where they are meant to, and the result looks like it came from the factory.

These kits are cut for one specific hull and, being made to order, they are not returnable.
FS means Frame Seat. A Caribbean 14 and a Caribbean 14 FS are different boats as far as this kit is concerned, and so is a Caribbean 12. Check the badge, and if there is any doubt send us a photo of your seat and footwell before you order.
The Caribbean 14FS Standing Pad Does Three Jobs
Closed-cell EVA foam does three jobs at once on a sit-on-top. It grips when wet, which matters the moment you decide to stand up. It cushions, which is the difference between a comfortable morning and sore feet. And it insulates a deck that, on a July afternoon here, is genuinely too hot to stand on barefoot.
The brushed surface is the finer of the two textures Marine Mat offers — a directional grain that is kinder to bare feet than the coarser knurled option.
How Marine Mat Goes On
It is peel-and-stick, on a high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesive that grips even a moulded-in non-skid deck. Clean the area properly and let it dry completely — adhesive does not forgive a damp or waxy surface — then lay the piece down and press it evenly from the middle outward.
Take your time on the dry fit. This is the permanent Stick-It series, not the snap-in removable one, so where you put it is where it stays. Marine Mat backs it with a limited three-year warranty against defects.
