The one that does both jobs. This cooler with removable liner has a hard insert that lifts out, so it is a rigid cooler when you want one and a soft packable bag when you do not.
Why the Removable Liner Is the Whole Point
A hard cooler holds its shape, protects what is inside and is easier to pack neatly. It also takes up exactly the same space in the garage empty as it does full, and it will not squash into a kayak tankwell.
A soft cooler goes anywhere and folds away. It also collapses in on itself when it is half full and lets everything slide about.
Take the liner out and you have the second. Leave it in and you have the first. For anyone whose gear has to fit in a car boot alongside boats and paddles, that flexibility is worth more than a few degrees of insulation.

24 cans or 15 bottles plus ice, with a PEVA lining and a polyester exterior, leak-proof.
Five pockets: two neoprene at the sides, two front pouches and a zip pocket at the back. The adjustable strap is neoprene-padded, which you appreciate once it is loaded.

About the Ice Claim
Geckobrands publish "12+ hours", and they hedge it themselves — it varies with how much ice you put in, how often you open it, and how hot the day is.
We will print their figure and their hedge and nothing more. You will see wilder numbers attached to soft coolers all over the internet; this is what the maker actually stands behind.
Two things genuinely extend it: pre-chill the cooler before you load it, and fill the air space. A half-empty cooler is mostly warm air, and warm air melts ice.
The removable liner helps here too: with the liner in, there is less air volume to keep cold.
