Track Adapt Kit for Landing Gear
Hardware that lets you move your Landing Gear to a different boat. The Landing Gear track pack converts a standard bolt-through kit into one that mounts on your kayak's accessory tracks.
What the Landing Gear Track Pack Converts
Boonedox sell Landing Gear in two mounting styles. The Standard Kit bolts its receptacles straight through the deck. The Track Kit clamps to the accessory track a boat already has.
This pack is the hardware to go from the first to the second. Boonedox's own line is the right one: you do not need to buy a whole new Landing Gear for a new kayak — if you need to move from a Standard Kit to a Track Kit, this is all the hardware you need.
Why a Landing Gear Track Pack Is Worth Having
Because people change boats and Landing Gear is not cheap. A bolt-through kit is drilled to one specific hull; when that boat goes, the holes go with it.
Converting to track mounting means the next boat only needs track — which most current fishing kayaks already have — and no new holes.
It is also the better answer if you would rather not drill a boat at all, which on a newer or more expensive hull is a reasonable position.
Check Before You Buy
Boonedox do not publish the exact contents of the pack or a list of compatible track profiles. Track is not perfectly standard across manufacturers.
So bring the boat, or tell us what track it has, and we will look at it with you before you spend anything. We would rather check than have you find out on the driveway.
Note also that this is an accessory to a Groovy generation Landing Gear kit — if yours is an older one, that is worth confirming too.
