Ultralight Tetra Posi-Lok

The Aqua Bound Tetra Posi-Lok is a premium, low-angle touring paddle from Aqua Bound's Ultralight line, and at 21.25 oz it lives up to the name. It's aimed at experienced distance paddlers, and Aqua Bound also points it at intermediate paddlers and anyone with shoulder or wrist concerns.

Carbon Blades That Float

Each blade is spread-tow woven carbon with aramid around a full foam core, so the paddle floats. Aqua Bound's Lam-Lok edge guard stitches about 33 feet of aramid around the blade edges, and each blade is made as one piece with its half of the shaft, so there's no blade-to-shaft joint. The blade measures 6.6 x 18 in (98 sq in).

The Aqua Bound Tetra Posi-Lok Ferrule

The Posi-Lok ferrule is fixed-length and all carbon, with no metal to corrode in salt water. Press two buttons and the halves click together with no wobble, feathered at 0°, 15°, 30°, 45° or 60°, left or right.
