Switch Blade Transducer Deploy
Get the transducer into clean water and back out again. A transducer deployment arm puts your sonar where it can actually read, and lifts it clear for launching and transport.
A Transducer Deployment Arm Goes Over the Side
Worth being clear, because there are two schools of transducer mounting.
A scupper mount shoots through the hull or sits in a scupper hole, and it is limited to whatever the hull allows. This arm goes over the side, so the transducer sits in undisturbed water beside the boat.
It articulates on multiple pivots, so you swing it down to fish and up to launch, land or drive home — which is what stops transducers getting destroyed on ramps.
The Transducer Deployment Arm Cuts to Length
The middle arm section is removable, and the arm can be cut to suit your boat. Overall length is 25.75".
That flexibility matters because hull depths and freeboard vary enormously between a low touring kayak and a tall fishing platform. There is also a depth-adjusting system so you can tune how far the transducer sits below the surface.
The blade profile is hydrodynamic, which is there to cut the gurgle and drag that a flat plate in the water creates at speed.
Three Ways to Mount It
To a YakAttack CellBlok battery box, deck mounted, or onto track — GearTrac or MightyMount, plus most Scotty, RAM and YakGear track. Hardware for the deck and CellBlok options is included.
FeelFree, 3 Waters and Jonny Boats need a separate adapter.
What Is Not Included
The fish finder, the transducer and the track. This is the arm.
And one thing we will not tell you: which transducers fit. YakAttack publish no compatibility list, and we are not going to invent one for a part you would be bolting an expensive sonar to. Bring your transducer in and we will offer it up.
