Omni Hooks
Four hooks that let you tie something down using the bungee your boat already has. OmniHooks clip onto the stern tankwell shock cord, and whatever you are strapping down hooks onto them.
What OmniHooks Attach To
Two things, and neither needs a drill.
They hook onto tankwell bungee up to .295" — which covers the factory shock cord on essentially every sit-on-top. And they drop into the t-slots on BlackPak top rails if you run a crate.
That is the appeal: a mounting solution that adds nothing permanent to the boat. Nothing to seal, nothing to leave a hole when you sell it.
What People Lash With Them
A milk crate. A BlackPak. A five-gallon bucket. A soft cooler. A dry bag that keeps sliding. A landing net. Anything that lives in the tankwell and currently shifts every time you hit a wake.
The problem OmniHooks solve is specific: tankwell bungee is designed to hold a flat load down, and it is poor at holding a tall, light, awkward one. Hooks give the bungee defined points to pull against rather than skidding over a smooth crate lid.
Practical Notes
Set the tension so the load cannot lift but the bungee is not at full stretch — cord held permanently at maximum stretch fatigues fast, and the hooks concentrate that load at points.
Check the bungee itself while you are at it. If the shock cord under these hooks has gone hard and stopped springing back, hooks will not save it. We sell 1/4" and 3/16" shock cord by the foot.
