Weeki Wachee River Paddling Adventure – January 2025
We started 2025 with an unforgettable adventure on the Weeki Wachee River, one of Florida’s most iconic paddling destinations! Our January paddling trip was a perfect way to embrace the new year. The weather was ideal—cool, refreshing, and perfect for spending time on the water.
The highlight of the trip was spotting manatees in their natural habitat! Winter is the best time to paddle the Weeki Wachee River, as these gentle giants seek the warm, crystal-clear waters of the springs. Seeing them up close was a magical experience and a reminder of Florida’s incredible wildlife.
Although our group was smaller than usual due to winter colds going around, the intimacy made the journey even more special.
