DockGrip
A versatile, horizontal kayak carrier with large cushioned, flexible pads that conform to a large range of hull shapes as well as SUPs.
Despite the name, the Thule DockGrip is a roof carrier, not dock hardware. It is a pair of horizontal saddles: the boat rides hull-down and flat, rather than on edge in a J-cradle, which is easier on the hull and much less affected by crosswind.
It Fits Whatever Is on Top Today
The two saddles pivot independently and lock at an angle you set with a lever, and the pads are large, flexible and cushioned. That means the same carrier takes a round sea kayak hull, a flat-bottom rec boat or a paddleboard without changing anything — which is the whole point if more than one boat lives in your garage.
