AeroBlade Edge 7502

The Thule AeroBlade Edge is a crossbar with the foot built into it, cast as one low-profile piece that sits down onto your factory raised rails. It is the tidiest-looking rack Thule made.

Flush, Not Overhanging

That is the whole design. A normal crossbar sits on top of towers and runs past the side rails, giving you extra width. The Edge is cut to the vehicle and ends flush with the rails, so from the side the car looks almost standard.

The Trade-Off, Honestly

Less width to work with. If you are loading two kayaks side by side, or a boat plus a box, a flush bar gives you less room than a full-length one. And because it sits so low, on some vehicles the sunroof will not open with the rack fitted — worth checking on your own car before you buy.

• The 75xx numbers are the raised-rail version; 76xx is for fixed points and flush rails

Thule has discontinued the AeroBlade Edge in the US — the WingBar Edge replaced it — so the four we have are the last. Bring the car by our Clearwater shop and we will check the rails and the sunroof before you commit.
