Cockpit Drape Cover

The cover for boats nothing else fits. A cockpit drape does not grip a coaming rim — it lays over the opening and its bungees wrap around the hull, so it does not need a matched pattern at all.

When a Cockpit Drape Beats a Fitted Cover

Most Seals covers are cut to numbered patterns, and if your cockpit does not match one, you are stuck. The drape is the answer to that: it covers by draping rather than by fitting.

It also does two jobs the fitted covers cannot. It protects a sit-on-top seat — which has no cockpit to cover — and it protects a SUP deck pad, both of which otherwise sit in the sun and rain all year.

This One Is Sized in Inches

Unlike the numbered covers, the cockpit drape is sized by outer cockpit length, which you can measure yourself:

• Standard — up to 44"

• Drape X — 45" to 60"

• Drape Tandem — up to 104"

All three fit cockpits up to 26" wide. Measure the outside edge of the coaming, end to end. We stock two of the three sizes; tell us what you measured and we will sort the right one.

Cockpit Drape Material

Medium-weight coated nylon packcloth with a tether hook. It is a lighter fabric than the heavy Cockpit Seal — the drape's job is coverage and versatility rather than maximum UV life, and the wrap-around bungees do the holding.

Still Not a Paddling Skirt

For storage and transport only, like every cover on this rack. No release system, not rated for sitting in.
