A beautiful day on the Hillsborough River Paddle Trip Aug 2021, there has been lots of rain this summer, so the forest was very green and lush. But with all the rain the river was high and running over into the forest. Making it so you can paddle through the forest. In fact, for part of this paddle we found ourselves on a side trip paddling through the woods. It made for a fun adventure. It was a hot day, but the shade of the forest was a relief, and the water was cool. After a nice reviving burrito lunch. It was an easy trip back down the river. The evening storms were moving our way as we paddled, but we were back loaded and ready to go before it started to rain. Thank you for all who came out and hope you enjoyed the adventure.
