Ft Desoto Paddle Trip Nov 2021
The November Fort Desoto paddle trip was a bit of a workout but a beautiful day started out . We had to work against the wind and the tide did not come in enough. But hey it was a day on the water. Lots of birds out on the flats wading in the shallows including, heron, ibis, little blue, egrets, brown and white pelicans. On the beach with us at lunch were some really cute sanderlings. The wind was with us to come back, and it was a quick run. We did the trail through the mangroves, but the tide was still low, the first part was passible, but the middle was just a slide across the mud. Sorry for the delay in getting the pictures posted.
