Anclote River Paddle Trip
Paddle from up from Craigs Park around Spring bayou the location of the annual Epiphany celebration where they dive for the Cross. Then paddle up to the Anclote River and glide by the Tarpon Springs Sponge docks. Watch the bustle of activity around the boats and restaurants as we glide by.
Anclote River
The Anclote River has been historically recorded on maps as far back as 1545. Just off shore of the mouth of the river is located Anclote Key. The river winds its way from the coast and gradually narrows along its 29 miles inland, to its source of streams ans springs.
