Riptide Kayak Terrova Saltwater
A proper saltwater trolling motor sized for a kayak. The Riptide Kayak Terrova brings Spot-Lock and the rest of Minn Kota's GPS features to a boat you can car-top.
What Spot-Lock Changes
This is the feature worth the money. Spot-Lock holds the boat on a GPS position — press a button and the motor makes whatever corrections wind and current demand to keep you there.
For fishing that is transformative. You can work a structure without anchoring, hold a position in current with both hands free, and return to an exact spot later. On a kayak, where anchoring is awkward and often unsafe in current, it removes a whole category of problem.
Alongside it: AutoPilot holds a heading, Drift Mode and Follow Mode handle moving water, and Power Steering makes the manual control light. Control is by micro remote, the One-Boat Network app, or a linked Humminbird unit.

One Thing to Be Clear About
The Riptide Kayak Terrova is a separately sold bow or transom-mount motor. It is not the integrated motor inside an Old Town Sportsman AutoPilot — those ship with a 45 lb Minn Kota built in.
The boats Old Town pairs this with are the Sportsman 120 PRO and Sportsman PDL 120 PRO, which come pre-rigged with the mounting points for it. If you have a different hull, talk to us about mounting before you buy — 40 lb of motor needs somewhere properly engineered to bolt to.
