A mesh stuff sack is what you want for anything that has to dry: a wet rash guard, sandy water shoes, a towel. Air moves straight through it, so gear is not sealed up damp in the bottom of a hatch until you get home.
Where These Usually Fail
The seam where the mesh meets the nylon base is the weak point on a bag like this, so Sea to Summit reinforces it. There is a pull handle on the bottom as well, which is how you get a packed sack back out of a hatch.
