Hydro Flip Lid
A wide mouth flip lid for Hydro Flask bottles — flip the spout up and drink without unscrewing anything.
Why a Wide Mouth Flip Lid on the Water
One hand. That is the reason.
Unscrewing a cap means putting the paddle down, and a loose cap in a kayak is a cap that ends up in the bay. A wide mouth flip lid stays attached to the bottle, opens with a thumb, and closes the same way.
Wide Mouth Only — Read This
This is the single most common mistake with Hydro Flask lids. It fits Wide Mouth bottles only.
The Standard Mouth bottles use a different, narrower thread and this lid will not go on them. It is not a tight fit or a hard fit — it simply does not thread.
If you are not certain which you have, bring the bottle in. It takes two seconds to check and saves a return.
Reported fitment across the Wide Mouth range covers the 12, 16, 18, 20, 32, 40 and 64 oz bottles.
This Wide Mouth Flip Lid Is Likely Discontinued
Retailers list the Hydro Flask flip cap as discontinued by the maker. We have not seen an official notice, so we will say "likely" rather than state it — but do not count on replacing it easily.
About Our Price
Ours is $4.99. Hydro Flask's own lids sell for around fifteen dollars, so this is either very old stock at an old cost or a pricing error in our system.
We have flagged it internally. Ask at the counter — we are not going to quietly reprice it on you at the till, but we would rather check it than sell a mistake.
