Hullavator Pro, kayak loader
Raising the bar (literally) for lift assist carriers, the Hullavator lifts up to 40lbs of a kayaks weight and allows side of vehicle loading.
The Thule Hullavator Pro is the answer to the question every paddler over fifty eventually asks: how do I keep doing this on my own. The cradle comes down the side of the vehicle to about waist height, you set the kayak in it there, and gas struts take 40 lb of the weight as you lift it back up.
Loading at Waist Height
You never lift a boat over your head, and you never drag a hull across the paint. The double-extending arms lower the kayak up to 3 feet down the side of the car, which on most vehicles puts the cradle at a comfortable working height.
