Ft Desoto Paddle Trip

Join a local guide for a small-group paddle to one of the Gulf coast's best spots. We provide the kayak and gear, or bring your own — all skill levels welcome. Expect calm water, good company, and plenty of wildlife.
About Fort De Soto
Mangrove tunnels, open bay crossings, and sweeping views of the Sunshine Skyway. One of the finest day-trip destinations on the Gulf Coast.
Ft DeSoto is a natural mangrove estuary full of all kinds of seabirds and often dolphin. We paddle around the protected inside area of the park before heading to Shell Island for a picnic lunch on the beach. This one can me a little shallow at low tide so be prepared to do some kayak hiking as well as paddling.
