Dry Tunes Speaker
Dry Tunes Speaker in action
The DryTunes speaker is a portable Bluetooth speaker made for the boat: it's IP67 waterproof, it floats if it goes over the side, and it snaps onto a removable magnetic base. It's a standalone speaker, not wired into your kayak's power.
Battery and Sound
Dual lithium batteries (4,800 mAh) give you 40-plus hours at half volume or about 10 hours at full volume, and it tops out at 103 dB. It charges over USB. Press the Party Button and it pairs with other DryTunes speakers within 200 feet.
Mounting the DryTunes Speaker
The magnetic base has a 1/4-20 threaded insert, and it comes with a rail-mountable steel pad and T-nut, so it can sit on a gear track.
• 7.75 x 3.5 x 2.75 inches
• Includes the magnetic base, steel pad and T-nut, USB cable and wrist strap
• 1-year warranty
If it does take a swim, water in the speaker pockets can muffle the sound for a moment until it drains out.
