Clamcleat Line Lock
The Mini Line-Lok is a genuine Clamcleat, and it is different from every other cleat on this page in one important way: it does not screw to anything. It rigs on the rope itself.
The Mini Line-Lok Needs No Fasteners
Thread the cord through, and the Line-Lok becomes an inline adjuster. Slide it to tension, and the jaws grip. There is nothing to bolt to a deck, nothing to drill, and nothing to seal β which makes it the answer whenever you want adjustment somewhere you cannot or will not put a screw.
Tent and tarp guy lines are the classic use. On a boat: adjustable deck loops, a drawcord you want to lock, a hatch retainer you tension by hand, a stern light pole guy.
Size and Line
β’ Approximately 13/16" long
β’ For cord 1mm to 3mm (roughly 3/64" to 1/8")
β’ Injection-moulded nylon, cold-grade
That line range is the thing to check. This is a small fitting for thin cord. Our 2mm and 3mm accessory cords are right for it; 4mm is at the top end and 1/4" deck line will not fit at all. For thicker line you want the zig cleat instead.
Mini Line-Lok and the Rest of the Clamcleat Range
Clamcleat makes a family and it is easy to buy the wrong one. The Mini Line-Lok is the smallest at about 13/16". Above it sit the Small at around 1-1/4" for 2β5mm cord, then Medium and Large for progressively heavier line. If your cord is thicker than 3mm, ask at the counter and we will point you up the range.
