Good to be back on the water with the group even if its half size. A nice trip up the river to the linger lodge. Paddling along the lake to the river there was a large flock of Ibis in several tree’s and next to them was a flock of Cormorants. The river is lined with oak tree’s filled with Spanish moss. Sitting in one of those trees was an Osprey eating a fish that was still twitching. Turtles, Heron and Egrets where around but not plentiful. Lunch on the porch at the Linger Lodge was nice. It was a warm day but one of the few times we didn’t get rained on doing this trip. It was another great day on the water, thanks for everyone who came out.
