Slotted Console
A bar across the boat that is also a track. The slotted console spans your deck in front of the seat and gives you 29 inches of mounting rail exactly where you can reach it.
Why a Slotted Console Goes In Front of You
Most kayak track runs along the gunwales, beside or behind your hips. That is fine for a rod holder and poor for anything you need to look at or touch — a fish finder, a phone, a camera.
A console puts all of that directly in front of you, at arm's length, in your field of view. You stop twisting to read a screen and you stop reaching blind for gear.
The Slotted Console Is Itself the Track
The bar itself is a full-length accessory track — black anodised aluminium, 29 inches, with 24 inches of measurement marks along it.
So you are not bolting a track to a bar; the bar *is* the track. Fish finder in the middle, rod holders either side, camera arm on the end — all sliding to wherever you want them, all on one piece of hardware.
The measurement marks are a genuinely nice touch: a built-in ruler across the boat for measuring fish without carrying a separate board.
Fitting
Hardware is included. Boonedox publish no list of boats it fits — just that it suits various kayaks — so we are not going to print a fitment list we cannot stand behind.
Some boats, the Hobie Pro Angler among them, need a riser kit to lift and angle the console clear of the deck. We stock the angled riser; ask if you need the flat one.
Bring the boat in and we will measure across your deck before you buy.
