Bonedox Native Slayer Max Rudder

A bigger, better rudder for the Native Watercraft Slayer Max. The Slayer Max rudder from Boonedox is powder-coated aluminium with a longer shaft and a larger blade than the factory part.

What the Bigger Slayer Max Rudder Blade Does

Two things. It turns the boat harder for the same pedal input, which matters on a wide fishing hull that does not want to pivot. And it holds a line better in wind and current, so you spend less of the day correcting.

The longer shaft puts more of the blade into undisturbed water below the hull, which is where the blade area actually works.

Fitment — This Part Is Critical

The Boonedox Slayer Max rudder fits the Native Watercraft Slayer Max. It does not fit:

• 2023 and newer Slayer Max boats with Native's drop-down rudder

• Any boat with the Spring Blade or Switch Blade rudder system

Look at what is on the back of your boat before ordering. If the rudder drops down from a housing rather than pivoting on a pin at the stern, this is not your part.

Do Not Confuse the Slayer Max Rudder With the N Rudder

Boonedox makes a second rudder at the same price with the same blade size, called the N Rudder, and that one is for Native and BKC Propel boats. Boonedox states explicitly that the N Rudder is not for the Slayer Max.
