Whisper Paddle
The Bending Branches Whisper is the recreational paddle: the one for tooling around the lake, a slow river with friends, or a first kayak that came without a decent paddle.
What You Get for the Money
Polypropylene blades on an aluminum shaft. It's heavier than a fiberglass or carbon paddle at 37 oz, and you'll feel that on a long day, but it's tough, it's cheap to replace and it doesn't owe you anything after a season of being dragged over oyster bars.

Which Length?
Paddle length depends on your height and the width of your boat, not just your height. A wide sit-on-top usually needs more length than a narrow touring kayak. Tell us the boat, or come by our Clearwater shop and we'll size it with you.
